The basic requisites for an associate’s degree in engineering is clear and will allow you to transfer to another institution of higher learning if you pursue a degree online.  Ensure that the program is accredited and is associated with the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).  Then you may begin a career in the exciting field of engineering.

You will also be required to study certain programming languages such as HTML, C++, Oracle and Java.  Internet applications are a huge focus of online engineering programs as they change almost daily.

Degree Authority
In 2003, the Pennsylvania Secretary of Education authorized PTC to operate as a college and to award the Associate in Science degree to graduates of approved programs.
