Business Administration Career and Training Information

The business administration program provides students with skills that are important to succeed in an ever-changing business world.  Students are taught how to deal with complex situations, how to make efficacious decisions and how to follow through on microeconomic and macroeconomic variables. There are many different types of methods of learning that include:

  • cooperative education
  • teacher-based curricula
  • student-based curricula, and
  • real-life situations, where students acquire the comprehension needed to carry out the difficulties and issues that arise in everyday business environments.

Students are able to make the curriculum their own as they pursue their specific academic needs. Curriculum in the business administration major is usually divided in order to address those particular needs.  Since free enterprise courses are essential, these are primarily at the core of most business administration curricula.  Students will be given a chance to study the everyday workings of both the national and international economies.

Marketing, economics, management, accounting and business law are very important pieces of a solid business administration program.  Graduates of these programs will be able to accomplish cooperative learning situations as well as strong communicative skills.  These graduates will be ready to be employed within finance companies and governmental institutions.

When a graduate completes a successful business administration curriculum, they should be able to:

  • utilize both macro- and microeconomic designs  as a basis for understanding our economy.
  • use advanced mathematical equations in order to solve problems as they arise.
  • use software to change and formulate data to be able to analyze and make decisions.
  • apply effective administrative proficiencies that include planning businesses.
